He was active in the Methodist church of Montandon.b, d, & burial date - death certificate, cause of death true pneumonia fever with contributory cause exposure; 1850 census age 2 in Jackson Twp w/family; 1860 census age 11 in Little Mahanoy Twp; 1871 bought property in Shamokin; 1873 & 1875 living inWilliamstown when property was sold; 1878 resided in Lykens; 1880 census age 32living at 213 Coal St., Pottsville, PA w/Lena, Harvey(9), Kate(5), Edward (3) -occupation livery stable; 1886-1893 living in Shamokin; 1900 census age 52living West Chillisquaque twp. w/ Lena, Edward(22), George(19)& Howard(8) -occupation gardner; 1910 census age 62 living West Chillisquaque twp.w/Lena, Allan(23) & Howard(18) - occupation farmer on truck farm.
